Paul and Gary O'Donovan pulled on their podium pants once again toady as the pair swept to victory in the final of the Irish Open regatta at the National Rowing Centre.

The duo were met with fierce competition, with Shane O'Driscoll and Mark O'Donovan leading the race up to the halfway point. However, the duo reeled in O'Driscoll and O'Donovan to clinch the title and win together for he first time since their silver medal success at the Olympic Games in Rio.

Also in action was another Irish Olympian Sanita Puspure, who was was an emphatic winner of the women’s single.

Paul O’Donovan won the final of the single sculls, pushed all the way by brother Gary.
