Dubliner Patrick Hyland's hopes of pulling off an upset and becoming a world champion were dashed last night following a second round knock-out.
A flurry of punches ended Hyland's hopes after three knock downs in short succession, meaning Gary Russell Jr retained his WBC Featherweight belt on his first defence of the title.
