Martin O'Neill and Roy Keane will form a managerial "dream team" for Ireland. But it's a situation Pat Nevin would never have dreamed.

The Chelsea legend was on Off The Ball last night for Monday Night Football and he gave his take on the news:

"Let's be fair about it. It's a ticket that sounds extreme. I didn't see that coming. Martin O'Neill has worked with a few people over the years. Keane is a different style to those people. There's no doubt that they will be able to motivate. O'Neill is fantastic at it with a style of his own, Keane's is more in people's faces."

While their styles might be different, Nevin believes there is not question that both men understand football.

Pat also touched on Arsenal's fabulous form, why Tottenham are struggling to score goals and David Luiz.

You can listen to the full interview in the Football Show podcast. You can listen below or download on iTunes. It includes Dan McDonnell assessing the O'Neill and Keane situation as well as Dermot Corrigan on Atletico Madrid.
