Martin O'Neill has trimmed his squad still further ahead of tomorrow's Euro qualifier with Gibraltar.

Bournemouth midfielder Eunan O'Kane and Aberdeen striker Adam Rooney will have to wait for a first cap, while defenders Alex Pearce of Derby County and Reading's Paul McShane, as well as Cardiff City winger Anthony Pilkington have been dropped.

It is thought a combination of injury and tactics have influenced O'Neill's decision.
