Ireland Women's head coach Tom Tierney has included just one uncapped player in the starting XV for their Six Nations meeting with Italy on Friday.

Leinster's Hannah Tyrrell will make her debut on the wing.

Captain Niamh Briggs is at full-back while Nora Stapleton is at 10.

There are also five uncapped players on an a largely inexperienced bench.
