The Skibbereen native finished first in the final of the lightweight single sculls in the Netherlands this morning, less than two weeks just two weeks after success in Rio where he finished second in the lightweight double sculls with his brother, Gary.
O'Donovan pulled away in the final 500m of the race to win comfortably in the end and cap a remarkable month for the Cork native.
