Oklahoma City Thunder have knocked the San Antonio Spurs out the NBA Playoffs after winning their Western Conference Semi-Final in six games.

The Spurs went into the Playoffs with the second-best regular-season record in the NBA. They finished the season with a 67-15 record. The Spurs' record is now the joint fourth-best in NBA history.

Former NBA MVP Kevin Durant was the star of Game 6, as he scored 37-points in the 117-99 win. It was the second-game of the series where Durant scored over 35-points.

The Thunder now go on to face the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Final, which begins on Monday night in California. The winner of the series will advance to the NBA Finals where they will face one of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Toronto Raptors or Miami Heat.

The 4-2 series loss, may be the end of an era for the Spurs. Tim Duncan is expected to retire after joining the Spurs in 1997. The 40-year-old has one the NBA title five-times with the Texas-based team.
