New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr has been banned for one game, because of his role in a number of incidents in a game on Sunday night.

Beckham was involved in numerous incidents with Carolina's Josh Norman in their game at the weekend, which culminated in the 23-year-old launching himself helmet first into Norman.

He will now miss the Week 16 game away to Minnesota on Sunday night. The loss of Beckham may prove costly for the Giants. They currently lie in third place in the NFC East and need to beat the Vikings to keep their season alive.
