Paul O'Connell has been ruled out of the rest of the Lions tour of Australia after fracturing his arm.

The Ireland and Munster lock picked up the injury in the first Test win over the Wallabies in Brisbane on Saturday.

Geoff Parling, who was due to captain the side against the Melbourne Rebels tomorrow, is likely to be his replacement.

The Englishman has been withdrawn from the team and replaced by Ian Evans.
