Nottingham Forest have confirmed that manager Billy Davies has been sacked.
The move comes after the Midland's clubs 5 - 0 thrashing at the hands of local rivals Derby County at the weekend.
That result came at the end of a poor run of games for Forest, that saw them drop out of the Championship play-off places.

Former Crystal Palace and Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock is reportedly set to take charge of the two-time European Cup winners, initially until the end of season.
