Championship side Leeds United have signed former Reading striker Noel Hunt.

The Republic of Ireland international worked with current Leeds boss Brian McDermott when he was in charge at the Madejski Stadium.

He made over 150 appearances in five seasons, scoring a shade under 40 goals, although he scored just twice in the Premier League last season.

Hunt has signed a two-year deal.
