Noel Hickey has announced his retirement from inter-county hurling. 

He won nine All Ireland titles and six League titles with Kilkenny. 

Meanwhile Eoin Cadogan has opted to play for the Cork Footballers this season.

He lined out for the hurlers and footballers since making his inter-county debut.
