Didier Deschamps has finalised his squad for Euro 2016 and there is no place for Liverpool's Mamadou Sakho whose recent suspension for failing a drugs test has expired.
The host nation have instead chosen Manchester City's Eliaquim Mangala, Lyon's Samuel Umtiti and Adil Rami as the centre-back options alongside Arsenal's Laurent Koscielny, since Jeremy Mathieu of Barcelona and Real Madrid's Raphael Varane are both injured.
