Nicolas Roche joined Ger on the line tonight from Utrecht ahead of the Tour de France.

The race begins tomorrow from the Dutch city as Roche prepares for his seventh Tour and fist with Team Sky. Chris Froome is to lead the team looking for his second Tour win, and Roche told Ger that there is "a thrill" to being under so much pressure trying to keep Froome in contention throughout the three weeks.

Roche is Team Sky's road captain this year and he has spoken about the extra responsibilities he has been given. The role involves making split decisions if pre stage team tactics are not coming to fruition.

Chris Froome has admitted missing two drug tests in recent years, including one when he was staying in a hotel. Roche spoke very candidly to Ger about the administration cyclists need to go through, especially when staying in hotels.
