A Miami Dolphins player has been suspended by the NFL for the alleged bullying and harassment of a team-mate.
Offensive lineman Richie Incognito left a threatening voicemail on team-mate Jonathan Martin's phone, using a racials slur, expletives and expressing threats to his target's family.
The NFL and Miami Dolphins have both heard the message and consequently Incognito was suspended.
ESPN sources alleged that the harassment of Martin is not the first instance of bullying that Incognito has been involved in over the past two years, with other players also targeted.
In the summer, sources claim that Incognito asked Martin to contribute $15,000 for a team trip to Las Vegas. The latter did not want to go on the trip but handed over the money, fearing retribution if he refused.
Martin left the Dolphins last week, reportedly as a result of bullying.
Incognito has gained a reputation for being a "dirty" player during his pro-football career.
