Brazil star Neymar is winning his race to be fit for the World Cup.

PSG manager Unai Emery expects the forward to be able to return in around three weeks time after having surgery on his fractured metatarsal.

The Parisians were knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid in the absence of the world's most expensive footballer and they'll also be without him for tomorrow's French League Cup Final against Monaco.

Brazil's national team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar had estimated a recovery time of between two and three months after Neymar's operation in early March but Emery's confident he'll play some part for PSG before the end of the season.

"I spoke with him this week, he's good, relaxed. We spoke about the final. He's going to follow the game (against Monaco)."
