Newcastle came from a goal down to beat Stoke 2-1 at St. James' Park - a result which puts them six points clear of the relegation zone.
Jon Walters scored a penalty to give Stoke the lead - the first time he has converted a spot kick in three attempts.
But Yohan Cabaye levelled it for the home side with a free-kick 18 minutes from time before Papiss Cisse poked home in the last minute.
