PSG has agreed a €24 million fee for the transfer of Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye.
The France international is set to travel to Paris for a medical on Tuesday according to BBC Sport.
This afternoon, Newcastle manager Alan Pardew did not sound confident that the club could keep hold of the former Lille player, highlighting the lure of Champions League football.
PSG are currently top of Ligue 1 and face Bayer Leverkusen in the last-16 of the Champions League.
The club's central midfield currently consists of Marco Verratti who has been compared to a young Pirlo, the hard-running Blaise Matuidi, vice-captain Thiago Motta and 18-year-old youth graduate Adrien Rabiot.
