The Netherlands have posted the lowest score in the history of international Twenty20 cricket.

The Dutch were bowled out for just 39 by Sri Lanka in their Group 1 match at the World Twenty20 in Bangladesh.

It comes days after the Netherlands beat Ireland in a victory which included a record 19 sixes.

South Africa beat New Zealand by 2 runs in the earlier game.
