UFC Flyweight Neil Seery is to fight Kyoji Horiguchi in one of the biggest fights of the Dubliner's career.

Horiguchi fought for the UFC Flyweight title last year against Demetrious Johnson but lost by submission in the final round. It is the Japanese fighters only loss in the UFC and was only the second of his professional career.

Seery's fight against the number six-ranked Horiguchi is undoubtedly the biggest since the Dubliner joined the UFC. His record with the promotion is 3-2 following a win over Jon delos Reyes in Dublin last October.

The Guamanian is the only fighter who has fought both Seery and Horiguchi and lost on both occasions. The Japanese fighter defeated delos Reyes in the first round, compared to Seery's second round stoppage.

A win for Seery in Rotterdam will move "2 Tap" into the UFC's Flyweight rankings for the first time. Only Conor McGregor and Aisling Daly have been ranked by the promotion.
