Andy Murray has won the Wimbledon mens singles title in a thrilling, exhausting straight sets victory over Novak Djokovic. Despite the apparent straightforward nature of Murray’s three sets to love win it was a hard fought battle that stretched into the fourth hour, with both players playing superb tennis.

Ultimately, Murray’s mental strength showed, as Djokovic appeared to feel the pressure in the intense Centre Court heat.
