Prop John Ryan has also been ruled out of consideration after suffering concussion during the early stages of last weekend's game.
Meanwhile, Jack McGrath remains Leinster's main injury concern ahead of this weekend's clash.
The prop continues to be monitored as he recovers from a shoulder injury that he suffered during Ireland's win over France two weeks ago.
Hooker Sean Cronin proved his fitness after he took a full part in training today, while fit-again Luke Fitzgerald has trained all week with the rest of the squad and has reported no ill effects from his return to action against Zebre last Friday.
