Munster have slipped to a narrow 27-24 defeat to Glasgow Warriors after an exciting encounter at Scotsoun.

The Warriors led 14-10 after an high-intensity start to the game, which featured three tries inside the opening 12 minutes.

Glasgow tighthead prop Sila Puafisi scored two close-range tries inside the opening seven minutes as the Warriors got off to a dream start, with both scores converted by Duncan Weir.

But Munster responded superbly to get their opening score just minutes later as Dave Kilcoyne barged over underneath the posts after a good spell of pressure from the visitors.

Munster also got the next score of the game as Ian Keatley slotted a straight-forward penalty to add to his conversion, before Kilcoyne added another try.

However, Glasgow regained their lead when Duncan Weir scored a try just after the break, only for Mike Sherry to go over for Munster on 63 minutes to put Anthony Foley's side back in front.

But Glasgow's Glenn Bryce scored another try for the Scottish team to put Munster behind again.
