Dave Foley made his Munster debut way back in 2010 but it wasn't until Saturday's win over Gloucester at Kingshom that he finally made his Heineken Cup duo.

The 25-year-old second row admitted his frustrations at having to wait so long when he spoke to us tonight.

"It's been incredibly frustrating. I've picked up a few injuries and I've played second and third fiddle to the likes of Paul O'Connell and Donnacha Ryan. It's been really frustrating. But the good thing is that I have learned a huge amount from the likes of those guys and I've been willing to wait up to now. I just hope I can kick on from here.

Foley also gave an insight into the atmosphere in the current Munster dressing room and revealed how Paul O'Connell helped to ease his nerves ahead of Saturday's match.

"On Saturday in the hotel, I started to get a bit nervous. I asked Paul O'Connell if he ever gets nervous before games and he strangely enough said yes. So I guessed that if he gets a bit nervous then it's fine for me to get nervous on my first cap," admitted Foley.
