Muhammad Ali has been released from hospital after recovering from a severe urinary tract infection.

The 72-year-old, who has battled Parkinson's Disease since the 1980s, was initially admitted with what was believed to be pneumonia.

A family spokesman says he is now looking forward to celebrating his birthday next week with family and friends.
