David Moyes insists his Manchester Untied side can continue to improve following today’s 3-0 win over Aston Villa.
Speaking with Sky Sports after the win Moyes insisted the performance had not been vastly different from other recent performances, with the only major difference being that his side had finished their chances this afternoon.
“I don’t think there was an awful lot of difference except obviously we scored the goals. We’ve not been scoring.,” Moyes said.
Despite a comfortable win and a dominant performance Moyes believes today’s standard should be at the low end of expectations for his side.
“We know we have to play better as well. And we have to play better than we did today again. It continually have to improve and it will improve and Ill make sure it gets better over the coming months.
“I think we’ll play much better than that today. I’ve told the players that’s the least we can do and we’ve got keep going and keep wining more games,” Moyes said.
The win lifts United to eight in the table, 10 points behind Arsenal. You can read a full match report here.
