Manchester United manager David Moyes says he is confident that they will make signings before the end of the transfer window in 18 days.
The Red Devils have had two bids for Cesc Fabregas rejected but Moyes says they will make some signings.
Indeed ESPN's Miguel Delaney indicated that the club are targetting three more signings on Monday night's Football Show on On Off The Ball, although the identity of the targets are unclear.
The former Everton manager says there are no new developments on Wayne Rooney's status adding he will be staying at Old Trafford.
Rooney played 65 minutes for England last night but his club boss says he will be assessed before they decide whether or not he will be included in the squad to face Swansea on Saturday evening.
Moyes was covering yesterday's friendly as a pundit and when asked about the striker's situation, he said,"Everybody likes to see Wayne Rooney playing well. He needs games."
