HURLING
Lar Corbett is back in the Tipperary panel.
The Star reports this morning that the 2010 hurler of the year will return to training tonight.
Corbett who won a county title with Thurles Sarsfields last season has been recovering from a knee injury but up until now it remained unclear if he would return to the county squad.
This weekend, Tipperary meet Waterford in the Allianz League semi finals in Nowlan Park.
Eamon O'Shea's side will be depleted this weekend by Seamus Callanan who's suspended. Cathal Barrett and Kieran Bergin are also missing, both players are injured.
GAELIC FOOTBALL
Kerry meet Clare at the quarter final stage of the Munster Minor Football championship for the second year running.
The reigning champions have home advantage, with throw-in at Austin Stack Park at 7pm.
They're underway at the same time in the other last-8 ties, with Cork away to Limerick, and Tipperary facing Waterford.
SOCCER
It finished scoreless last night in the Vicente Calderon between Atletico Madrid and rivals Real Madrid in the Champions League quarter final.
The second leg takes place next week in the Bernabeu.
A second half penalty from Arturo Vidal gave Juventus a 1-0 victory over Monaco in the other quarter final first leg in Turin.
In tonight's quarter finals, Porto meet Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain entertain Barcelona. Both matches start at 7.45

The Daily Mail has published images of the England forward, along with his club team-mate Jordan Ibe holding a shisha pipe.
The paper says the pictures are believed to have been taken earlier in the season in a London bar.
