SOCCER

While their title challenge is now officially over after Chelsea's win against Crystal Palace yesterday, Arsenal will still be targeting an automatic Champions League place when they take on Hull this evening.

Arsene Wenger's side can go level on points with second-placed Man City with a game in hand should they win tonight.

Hull, on the other hand, are just a point clear of the relegation zone but have won two games on the trot.

Here at home, Dundalk have the chance to go six points clear at the top of the SSE Airtricity Premier Division this afternoon when they take on Bray Wanderers.

The Wicklow side will be desperate for a win, too, as they are currently second from bottom but can leapfrog Drogheda United, Sligo Rovers and Galway United with all three points.

That game is underway at 3pm, while Bohemians welcome Cork City to Dalymount at 5.10pm.

Bohs can go above Cork with the win this evening.

SNOOKER

The final of the World Snooker Championships continues this afternoon as Shaun Murphy takes on Stuart Bingham.

Murphy has not claimed the title since 2005, while Bingham has never even reached this stage.

RACING

Today's card is at the Curragh where the first race is off at 2.05pm.

Meanwhile, above the border, there is racing at Down Royal with the first going to post at 2.25pm.
