SOCCER

The Ireland squad trains at the Aviva Stadium this morning ahead of Sundays friendly with England.

The squad met yesterday morning in north Dublin ahead of a two week camp that also includes the Euro 2016 qualifier with Scotland.

It's reported that Wes Hoolahan has defied his club Norwich to be in Dublin, and will fight for his place despite a knee injury.

RUGBY

Ireland kick off their World under 20 Championship campaign in Italy today when they face Argentina.

Kick off is at 3.30pm our time.

TENNIS

Roger Federer can move a step closer to his second French Open title today, but he'll need to beat a fellow Swiss compatriot to reach the semi-finals.
