Swansea boss Garry Monk is distancing himself from suggestions that West Ham are interested in him.

There is speculation the Londoners are considering an approach, with current chief Sam Allardyce out of contract in the summer.

Monk does admit that the links are flattering though.

"I look at it as speculation, which it is. That type of speculation is a compliment to the way myself and my team have been working this season and showing that we're progressing and going in the right direction," he said.

Monk has guided Swansea to their highest points tally in the Premier League, with the club currently in 8th.
