Just over a week ago, Ireland's players were tasting victory and celebrating together.
But this weekend it's back to business as the Leinster and Munster contingent clash at the Aviva Stadium.
But the dynamic between the players and how much they are willing to share with each other on international duty is an interesting subplot.
Grenoble coach Bernard Jackman believes both sets of players will be refreshed and back in a provincial mindset after a week off. But he explained that players can be coy about sharing details which may come to hurt them at provincial level.
"Maybe there are individual weaknesses that players see about each other. I think generally what you find in camp is that guys don't say a huge amount about their provinces. If it was a case of something that would add to the Irish team then they would share that. I certainly remember in the years when I was playing for Connacht and my early years at Leinster, Munster had a real policy where they never talked shop - particularly nothing negative."
But he also believes that there are no secrets anymore due to the amount of pre-game research that goes on.
Former Leinster and Munster lock Trevor Hogan believes experiences gleaned from playing alongside provincial rivals in the Ireland camp does filter into the pre-game analysis ahead of matches such as Leinster v Munster.
"I remember years back, just as the choke tackle was coming in, Donncha O'Callaghan was particularly strong on it before must of us realized how effective he was at it. I remember Brian O'Driscoll saying it at the back of a Six Nations in a video meeting that we really have to watch Donncha O'Callaghan in this area. At that proximity, there's a deeper appreciation and raises the level of awareness another couple of percentage," said Trevor.
The lads also discussed the dynamic when the international players return to squads where non-international team-mates have been grinding out Rabo wins in the shadow of the Six Nations.
Trevor also believes that Munster have improved their skill level in recent months and that the "gap is closing" with Leinster.
