It's less than a month to the next Superbowl and as that February 1st date with destiny approaches, the NFL's best sides are getting into the playoff groove.

Among the highlights during the weekend was Dallas Cowboys' 24-20 victory over Detroit Lions in the Wildcard Playoffs as they set themselves up for a Division Playoff clash with Green Bay Packers this Sunday.

Tonight, we were joined by Channel 4's NFL pundit Mike Carlson to talk about the latest action and also to look forward to the fixtures to come.

"It's a shame that the biggest story of the Wildcard Weekend was a refereeing decision. But it was probably the best game," said Carlson of the Dallas and Detroit game which saw Cowboys linebacker Anthony Hitchens crucially have a pass interference call reversed.

He also set the scene for the Cowboys' match against Green Bay with both sides meeting in the playoffs for the first time since the 'Ice Bowl' of 1967.

Carlson also previewed the three other Division Playoff games this weekend.
