Mexico have made a winning start to their World Cup campaign but they had to do without the help of correct refereeing decisions.
After the outstanding Giovani Dos Santos had two first half goals wrongly ruled out for off-side, El Tri finally took the lead in the 61st minute when in-form striker Oribe Peralta pounced on a rebound to power his shot into an empty net.
That goal finally sparked Cameroon into life but Mexico rarely looked to be in danger of surrendering their lead as they went second in the group.
