Through The Never stars Trip (played by Dane DeHaan), a roadie who is delivering some mysterious cargo to a Metallica concert.
After the van is involved in a crash, Trip, for some reason, finds himself in the middle of a riot, and then, for some reason, everyone chases him in attempt to obtain the delivery.
Although those few who have always dreamt of a deep and meaningful film starring the Metallica boys may be disappointed, It does look set to be visually and aurally impressive with 3D scenes backed by roaring live audio of the band.
The band announced its intention to make the film at the beginning of last year.
The band’s aspirations to contribute to the silver screen might not end at this.
Drummer Lars Ulrich revealed at the Cannes Film Festival last week that not only would he love to direct a film, he’s already been offered other roles such as producer and writer.
Ulrich already had some acting experience, most recently appearing in TV film Hemingway & Gellhorn.
