Ireland's Megan Campbell played a key role in helping Manchester City Women to win their first ever FA Cup.

The FA WSL Champions overcame Birmingham City Ladies in comprehensive style, with Campbell providing two assists en route to a 4-1 victory.

Her first came after just 18 minutes, when the Irish international delivered a free-kick into the Birmingham danger area, where Lucy Bronze connected with a header to nab the first of Man City's three first half goals.

Izzy Christiansen added the second Man City goal after a quarter of an hour, before Campbell emerged as the provider again with a stunning cross to set up the third goal.

She curled the ball towards the Birmingham back post, where World Player of the Year Carli Loyd was on hand to apply the finish. It was a perfectly weighted pass that deserved a goal to finish the move.

Charlie Jennings struck one back for Birmingham City Ladies in the second half, but any doubts over the Blues' grip of the trophy were eased when Jill Scott hit a fourth goal 10 minutes from time to secure the win.
