Having been involved in the Meath panel since Sean Boylan called him up in 2000 it will be strange for may to watch the Royals next year without Seamus Kenny being involved.
The Simonstown player has battled injury in recent season to make himself part of the panel including the dreaded cruciate.
This season ended in disappointment for Meath who lost to Armagh last weekend in the qualifiers having suffered a heavy defeat to Dublin in the Leinster final.
