Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods are both missing from the weekend field at the Abu Dhabi Championship.

The top two players in the world both finished outside the cut, with McIlroy clearly struggling to get to grips with his new clubs after signing a multi-million dollar sponsorship deal with Nike earlier this week.

Padraig Harrington, Peter Lawrie and Gareth Maybin are the only Irish players still in the field, but all three are well off the lead at the start of Round 3.
