UFC President Dana White claims Conor McGregor tried to bet $3M that he would beat upcoming opponent Chad Mendes in two rounds.
The Dubliner and the American are vying for the UFC interim featherweight title in Las Vegas on Saturday night and White told The Jim Rome Show that McGregor made him an offer he did ultimately refuse.
"You want to know how confident this kid is? I can't even believe I'm going to say this, but, he told Lorenzo [Fertitta] and I the other day ‘I'll bet you $3 million I knock him out in the second round.' I like to bet, I don't know if I'm that willing to take that bet," said White.
