Graeme McDowell has finished third at the HSBC Champions Event in Shanghai.

McDowell shot a 6 under par final round that left him on 20 under par, 4 behind Dustin Johnson.

Johnson chipped in for an eagle on the 16^th and pushed on to record a tournament record 24 under par.

Rory McIlroy scored 3 under in his final round, finishing on 15 under overall and tied for sixth place. The finish means McIlroy qualifies for the DP World Tour Championship.
