Graeme McDwoell goes into the final day of the Alstom Open de France today as joint leader, A third round 70 leaves the Northern Irishman on five under, level with South Africa’s Richard Sterne.
A group of three - England’s David Howell, Australian Richard Green and the Austrian Bernd Wiesberger – sit one shot back from the leaders.
McDowell is looking to add to the Volvo World Matchplay Championship – won in May – and the RBC Heritage, which he won the week after the Masters.
Sterne shot a 71 yesterday, meaning that aside from the two leaders only 16 players managed to get around in under par for the third round.
McDowell and Sterne tee off at 1.35 pm.
