Shelbourne have named Johnny McDonnell as their new manager.
The Airtricity League Premier Division's basement side have moved quickly to appoint a replacement for Alan Mathews, who resigned last week, and McDonnell will now be on a watching brief for tonight's 8 pm clash with Shamrock Rovers at the Tallaght Stadium.
The early start is at 7.05pm as Limerick FC welcome league leaders Sligo Rovers to Thomond Park.

The rest of tonight's matches will get underway at 7:45pm.
Bohemians play host to St. Pats at Dalymount Park, while Dundalk entertain UCD, Bray Wanderers host Drogheda United and Derry City welcome Cork City.
