Tommy McCarthy has made it a hat-trick of wins today for the Irish team at the World Boxing Championships in Kazakhstan.
The Belfast heavyweight came through a battle with Emir Ahmatovic of Germany, winning all three rounds of their last-16 bout.
It means that McCarthy joins his team-mates Michael Conlan and Jason Quigley in the quarter-finals and the trio are now just one more win away from securing a medal.
Earlier, Conlan and Quigley both won their last-16 fights during the morning session.
London bronze medal winner, Conlan will now face the tenth seeded Vladimir Nikitin of Russia in the bantamweight quarter-finals on Wednesday.
Quigley will Hungarian fourth seed Zolta Harcsa for a medal in the Middleweight division.
