Roberto Martinez thinks there might be better times to travel to the Emirates, with a wounded Arsenal waiting for his Everton side in today’s FA Cup Quarter Final.
"It's going to be a fascinating game from every angle you want to look into," Martinez told the official club website.
"We all know Arsenal have been an outstanding team for many years now and this season, apart from the setback they had at the weekend, they've been very, very consistent,” Martinez added.
With Arsenal coming off the back of a 1-0 defeat away to Stoke, their second defeat in their last three games in all competitions, Martinez is wary of the possibility that Arsene Wenger’s side will take today as the chance to make amends for last week’s defeat.
"Playing at home is a major factor for them and they're going to try to take advantage of that and bounce back from the weekend. If you wanted to find a bad time to play them, now is probably the moment,” Martinez said.
Everton drew 1-1 at the Emirates in December, with late goals from both sides capping an entertaining game.
"The fixture in December gave us all a clear indication of what's needed if you want to be successful at the Emirates, and I think it's reaching that level of perfection to which we aspire."
