Everton manager Robert Martinez is refusing to comment on reports that the club are close to signing Aiden McGeady.

Martinez has confirmed that he is close to adding another player to his squad, but declined to say if the winger was on his way to Goodison Park.

McGeady is out of contract with Spartak Moscow at the end of the season and is free to hold negotiations with potential suitors.
