Maria Sharapova has filed an appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport in an attempt to overturn her tennis drugs ban.
She was handed a two-year suspension by the International Tennis Federation earlier this month, after testing positive for meldonium - which became a banned substance at the beginning of the year.
A decision will be made by July 18th at the latest, which is before the Olympics.

On the day the ban was imposed, Sharapova used social media to assert how "harsh" she thought the sanction was.
