Roberto Mancini has publically criticised Manchester City over the way in which rumours about his future emerged.
The Italian is under pressure after an underwhelming season, pressure that has only increased since yesterday evening's shock FA Cup final defeat to Wigan at Wembley.
In the build-up to that game, reports emerged claiming that City have lined up Manuel Pellegrini to replace Manini.
"I don't know why the club didn't stop this because I don't think it's true," he said.
"We will see if [the rumour] is true in the next two weeks. If it is not true you have written stupid things in the last six months. If it is true I'm stupid because I don't understand this."
