Manchester United have reportedly seen a bid for Kieran Trippier rejected by Atletico Madrid.
The right-back is currently with the England squad at Euro 2020, and was deployed at left-back by Gareth Southgate for Sunday's 1-0 win over Croatia at Wembley.
Trippier joined Atletico from Tottenham in the summer of 2019 for a fee of €22million.
The 30-year old won a La Liga medal last season with Atleti, and was only absent from Diego Simeone's side due to a mid-season suspension.
According to journalist, Fabrizio Romano, Atletico value Trippier at €40million.
The full-back would provide competition for Manchester United's incumbent first-choice right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka. However, it's been reported that Wan-Bissaka could be converted into a centre-back at Old Trafford.

Last month, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said the club need 2-3 new signings to close the gap on Premier League winners Manchester City.
A right-back, holding midfielder and new right-sided forward are believed to be their priorities.
United are again keen on bringing Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho to Old Trafford this summer having failed in their attempts to sign him last year.
“We are looking at the squad, the players who are going to stay, those who might be leaving and I hope that we're going to strengthen with a few," Solskjaer said, "Two or three players that we definitely need to challenge higher up in the table.
"We’re still too far behind to think it is just going to come by itself."
Meanwhile, Tom Heaton is poised to confirm his return to Manchester United.
The 35-year old goalkeeper has completed a medical, and will sign a contract until 2023.
Heaton originally joined United as a trainee in 2002, but despite several loan deals he never made a senior appearance prior to a permanent move to Cardiff City in 2010.
