There are widespread reports that Manchester United have made a bid for Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas.

The offer for the former Arsenal midfielder is said to be around £26 million (€30 million).

However, it is believed the north Londoners have a buy-back option for their former captain, who left for Spain two years ago.

United are believed to have turned their attention towards Fabregas after their bid to sign fellow Barca man Thiago Alcantara failed. He is joining Pep Guardiola at Bayern Munich.
