Manchester United are reportedly on the verge of signing Spanish international goalkeeper Victor Valdes.

The former Barcelona keeper is set to join on an 18-month contract, having been without a club since leave Barca at the end of last season.

The 32-year-old World Cup and Champions League winner has been undergoing his rehabilitation from an anterior cruciate ligament injury at Old Trafford since October.
